About Radhika Vaz.
I was born in Bombay and had a nomadic upbringing because my father was a pilot with the Indian Air Force. It was a sad childhood because I never stayed long enough to make the life-long friends some people have, and it was also a happy one because I was able to embarrass myself and move on.
About Happy Cavity Productions.
Happy Cavity Productions was started by Radhika Vaz to develop and produce material that is funny. The founder is inspired by films like ‘9 to 5’, ‘Jumping Jack Flash’ and ‘Brigitte Jones’ Diary’ – movies with strong comedic performances by women. She is also a huge fan of the TV shows ‘Six Feet Under’ (dark but funny as hell) and ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ (a show that is improvised).
So far Happy Cavity has produced the one-woman comedy show ‘Unladylike: The pitfalls of propriety’, ‘Miss Vaz’s Valentine Variety Hour’, ‘CultureShock’ and the co-producer of the ‘Kat and Rad Show’.
New projects include ‘Unladylike: Part Two’ which should be ready by the end of the year, and a series of short comedic videos.
Happy Cavity Productions is in preliminary talks with a big Indian production company for a TV show. That’s right, this is a big-girl outfit!
About The Team.
Michael Trollan is an independent consultant in the digital media space. His list of clients includes such names as Verizon, Samsung, Martha Stewart, Time Warner Cable, Nikon, and many more. He specializes in website strategy, user experience, social media, search engines, online marketing, and technical architecture. He brings these skills to WEP’s own online presence — including the design and strategy of the current website — in a personal effort to further the mission of WEP and help bring education equality to global fruition.
